Installation (Important)
Curse Add-ons
- Download and install Curse Forge launcher (Download Curse Launcher)
- Install Curse launcher
- After installation is complete click Launch and select Minecraft
- Give launcher a few seconds to install Minecraft
- Click on Browse Modpacks and install any modpack
- After installation click Play
- As Minecraft launcher starts (when you're in login menu) close it
- Go back to curse launcher and click on Settings (gear icon) in bottom right
- Search for Minecraft and select it
- Look for Minecraft modding folder and copy location of folder
- Now download custom Minecraft launcher from below and visit following location:
- C:UsersYourPCnameHerecurseforgeminecraftInstall
- replace minecraft.exe or minecraft.jar with custom launcher
- (For windows it needs to be .exe launcher)
- After launcher was replaced go back to forge launcher
- Exit Settings and go back to mods tab
- Select Play and wait for launcher to download needed files and load
- Enter your username and click Options and select Stay Logged In this step is important else it won't work.
- Select Done and Play
- After it loading is complete close the launcher and return to Curse launcher
- Click on Play again and launcher will start downloading needed files.
- When launcher loads click Play
- Enjoy playing!
- From now on simply download modpack you wish to play and click play and modpack will automatically switch.
